About

Bio:

I’m a Dallas, Texas based Director of Photography specializing in commercials, narrative, documentaries, and branded content.

My love for filmmaking began when I was just 8 years old as a young skateboarder. Immersed in the action sports world, I spent over a decade documenting my journey as a competitive athlete. After an injury ended my skateboarding career I shifted my passion fully toward the art of cinematography and storytelling.

I graduated from the University of North Texas with a degree in Media Arts and immediately launched my freelance career. Quickly, I realized this is what I was always meant to do!

At its core, great cinematography is about collaboration. I approach every project as a creative partner first, working closely with directors to translate their vision into cinematic imagery. Once that shared vision is fully understood, I craft the plan for lighting, camera movement, composition, and equipment to best serve the story.

Before ever asking
“how,
” I believe it’s essential to ask
“why.”

What makes a strong Director of Photography is understanding the why behind every choice, while never losing sight of the bigger picture and what the film is ultimately communicating to its audience.

With over a decade of industry experience, I’m confident in my ability to not only create cinematic images but also lead a team through the entire creative process. I genuinely love this craft and that passion fuels my work on every project!
